Hi Esteemed Kernowlass, Goodness, with 39 badges, you must be very busy replying to all the problems that our Robot-run PayPal throws up, but you were so busy aiming for a new badge that you didn't bother to read the post properly, part of which follows :"then you find you can't log in to change the telephone number that has ceased to function. No other way to edit the telephone number, unless you log in," So not a question of 'not up to date' as your advice proffered, but the number had a problem, during which time I was unable to access my account. As it turns out, the telephone company has fixed the problem in 5 days (quick for Spain !) My POINT was, with the PSD2 two tiered authorisation, it left no option for alternative verification - Secret Q's &n A's or second telephone number - should the telephone number authentication fail. And unable to log in, absolutely NO WAY of contacting or speaking to anyone. Trust me I tried Facebook and the USA help number. But please provide proof to the contrary and you will indeed be worthy of yet another badge. Until then I will persist with my opinion that this is a gross oversight from PayPal and it sucks !
