Hi everyone. I have a new PayPal account. A few hours ago, a friend sent me money as a birthday gift. PayPal emailed me about it, yet it's not in my account. When I try to get help, I come across advise to make sure my email is confirmed. It is. Another unhelpful piece of advise is to check that my friend sent the money to the correct email- she must have because PayPal themselves contacted me to let me know about the payment. The payment has not been reversed, and besides, that would not explain why the money didn't reflect in my acc even when PayPal emailed me about it. I cannot contact the resolution centre because it says there have been no transactions and the option to send a query is not there for me! There doesn't seem to be any convenient way to contact PayPal directly. Please advise... is it normal for payments to take hours before reflecting, or should I be worried?
