I bought an item from a merchant. They accidentally sent me a full refund... then called and asked me to reject it. I was happy to oblige because I am keeping the item I purchased. However, my PayPal account has been locked since I disputed the refund. Literally - I'm sending a refund back to the merchant. Why in the world is my PayPal account being frozen? I understand if an errant CHARGE appeared on my account but I'm literally just rejecting an errant REFUND. this is nuts! and it's causing me problems to have other routine, recurring, legitimate charges be denied while my account is frozen.
