Hello , hoping someone can advise me. I bought an item from a Chinese company, however when the goods arrived I found it to be significantly different to what was ordered. The seller would not offer any refunds etc.. when i lodged a dispute with Paypal, I was told that I will need to send the item back to China at my own cost and they will refund it.. the postage cost is almost 50% of the total cost of the item I paid for. My question is why is paypal forcing me to send the item back to the seller , in the first place they sent an item completely different to what was ordered. This is very disappointing in the first place, as I have been a pay pal customer for a very longtime. Is there anyway to fight it ?. or should I be going to ACCC/Fair trading & lodge a complaint . thanks
