I'm not entirely sure that I've posted this on the correct board, or in the correct category, but here goes. My father and I are business partners and we're looking into setting up PayPal Business accounts. I went ahead and set one up already, thinking that we could both use it. However, for one thing it looks as though I'd only be able to add him as a user, rather than as an account co-owner or something similar; and for another thing, it doesn't appear that PayPal has the ability to automatically send the money we receive into different accounts according to which of us made it. (For instance, if he makes $300 from a client, and I make $500, we would want the $300 to go to automatically to his business checking account, and the $500 to go automatically to my business checking account.) Would it be better for him to set up a separate PayPal business account to ensure that the money goes where it is supposed to automatically; and would he even be allowed to do that, since we share a business name and other business info? Thank you in advance for your help.
