Because I received no reply, I eventually called PayPal, spent about half an hour on the phone, and got good answers. They should put this information in a FAQ, however. Just my 2c. Here's the procedure: Convert the account to a business account. You can do this yourself on-line. In the process, select “nonprofit” for the type. As soon as you've done this, you'll be able to change the organization's name on-line. Your selection of "nonprofit" will trigger communication from them about the nonprofit status. You’ll need to provide three pieces of documentation, as uploads: · Evidence of tax exempt status. · Voided check or bank statement. · Description of who the organization is, how it will use account. In order to replace change the contact, whoever replaces her will need to be on the back account signature card, and you’ll need to provide a scan of that. We haven't actually done this step yet, as we're taking the opportunity to change banks first. But we've done the rest, and it was painless. PayPal also discounts their fees for 501(c)(3) organization. That's a nice additional benefit. Hope this helps. Rudy
