Hi all, I run a small e-sports org and I'm offering online tournaments with some prize money (around 30EUR for 1st and 2nd place). Most players prefer PayPal for prize money. What is the correct way to payout this prize money with a PayPal business account? I wouldn't really conisder this as a "family and friends" transaction, at the same time I'm not buying any service or goods from those players. It's a payout not related to a specific action, as it's bound to your success during the tournament. Also I would like to avoid that players will need to pay any PayPal fee, as they are not a "seller" but a "winner". I wouldn't mind taking over those fees as a business transaction, but here PayPal doesn't seem to allow me to do this. Seems like my case is not really considered in the standard setup - or I'm not able to find it. Can anyone recommend what do to here to stay in line with PayPal's terms and conditions (I guess using friends and family would not cover this case?) while having a nice experience for our players (no need to pay fees from their side when receiving money)? Thanks for your help!
