My live business and personal accounts are all in USD. I'm opening an online store in the UK, using woocommerce, I selected GBP for my store currency and did a few sandbox test orders using a USD business account for the merchant, and a GBP account for the buyer. None of these orders went through, they show "payment complete" but the funds in both accounts remains unchanged. I tried different currencies and it seems that the currency of the merchant and the store must match for the funds to go through. After some reading and from my understanding PayPal doesn't just convert foreign currency sent to you, instead you have the choice to convert it or "add currency" and keep it as is. In this case, is this just a limitation of sandbox not having those advanced options and can't deal with this particulate case, or will I actually run into problems after going live if I set my store's currency different than my business account currency? I don't have non-usd live accounts to test this so I appreciate any info.
