Paypal is supporting a scam by vendor. I want to be refunded and see that actions are taken against this vendor. I have tried repeatedly to contact customer service in person and am unable to. I have opened two cases which have been subsequently closed by paypal despite my ability and offer to send additional materials / evidence to show what occurred. I have sent multiple inquiries and messages to paypal as well as trying to contact paypal in person by phone and am unable to reach a customer service representative either in person or in writing to discuss my case or paypal's rationale. Can anyone advise. This purchase was made for my son with his birthday money he saved up for a game boy and software to go along with it. We bought it off of a website that used paypal for the purchase. When paypal inquired with vendor (after we did not receive the items) the vendor provided shipping details but we were sent an item that was worth only pennies. Paypal justified that the vendor provided proof of delivery. Yes an item was delivered but not one that we ordered and one with no value - a flimsy plastic generic iphone case for an iphone we do not own. I opened a case inquiring first about the itme not being delivered and because it was the case was closed. I opened another case that was closed within hours with paypal for unauthorized purchase. Paypal has archived these claims so I can no longer view them. Why can I not simply speak to a customer service representative? Is paypal not concerned that they are seemingly allowing vendors to scam their customers? Is paypal no longer a safe?
