Hi community, So recently, I sold a pair of brand new jordans on Grailed to a customer. Mind you, they received the shoes in perfect condition and what note; but they later messaged me saying it was wrong sizing so they asked for a refund. I was apprehensive at first but eventually agreed to a full refund as long as they returned the shoes back as is. They shipped out but when I got the shoes back they were clearly WORN! The shoes were now creased and had literal dirt on the soles. I asked what happened and they admitted they wore it a few times, but this was AFTER they sent them back to me. I opened a dispute with Paypal and provided pictures of the now worn shoes and explained how the buyer manipulated me. Even after all this, PayPal still favored the buyer in the dispute. Now I'm left with worn shoes and debt owed to PayPal. For all my resellers out there, you'd understand how shoes lose value after being worn and it's outrageous how someone can just get away with something like this. I appreciate any help/advice you guys can offer. Thanks!
