Hello all! Recently, I purchased an item from overseas that had no shipping costs. I recieved a message from the seller that shipping costs to the US had gone up and that if I still wanted the item, I needed to send $4 in shipping costs. They had me do so by buying another item from their store. I did this and then bought a different item, from another seller. I immediately recieved a very similar message (They both started with 'hello, dear'.) It said that shipping costs have gone up and that I had to pay extra for the item. I responded to that one, stating that I would not feel comfortable doing that and to please refund my money. Now. I'm worried that I might never receive the initial item I'd paid for and - if I report it- will get a bad review as a buyer. Can anyone tell me if this is a commonplace practice? Thank you.
