I'm having this same issue. Been trying two days to make a payment with no luck. Keep getting an error message on my PC saying "We are unable to make the requested updates. Please try again later. Please go back to Account Summary page." I get the same result when trying to use the app on my phone to pay, the message tells me their system is having technical difficulties and to try later. I went onto chat on the Synchrony site, apparently it was a bot answering the chat and it promptly informed me that it encountered an error and I needed to reload the page, over and over. No luck. I was going to just go through my bank and pay it electronically that way, but I don't have my entire account number. Everything is online, I've never had a paper statement, and stupidly never thought to write the account number down. So I'm stuck and can't pay. It's not due for another few days, but I don't have high hopes of it being resolved anytime soon.
