I will be taking a screen shot of this question as I will be sending to my attorney. The fact that as a Paypal Business user I have to spend over FOUR HOURS today alone trying to get someone on the phone or otherwise and still have NO answers is beyond pathetic. I tried to transfer from my Paypal account this morning to my bank. I did reach someone earlier who told me that my "bank had blocked Paypal from doing so." Called my bank who literally laughed and said they have NO control over Paypal and that the bank did nothing of the sort. Have been trying to reach Paypal for the last 2 1/2 hours - not answering phones. Of course they're not. So I actually found out what happened. Paypal "updated my Profile and Account" and in so doing DELETED my bank account!!! So I attempted to add the bank account again, and was denied. There is NO reason whatsoever that Paypal has to withhold my funds in my account - and obviously they had NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER ACCEPTING MONEY INTO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT. So here's the deal. Does anyone have any idea how you actually reach these people? I have spoken with my attorney before writing this. He informs me that while Paypal believes they are not under the Federal banking regulations, they are still under Federal Law for handling people's money and can be sued in Federal court. Perhaps they need a wake up call. As I may do this as a Class Action lawsuit - if anyone else has had this experience in the past please do let me know if you'd like to be added to the lawsuit. I have no expectation that I will EVER hear from Paypal on this. Apparently they are the ONLY business who won't answer their phones due to COVID. I'm a business, we answer OUR phones, my bank answered their phone, Amazon, Netflix, DoorDash, Walmart, doctors, et al all answer their phones. Here's the deal people - Paypal does not want to pay workers to answer phones. It's that simple. That's okay - Paypal, in the end, will end up paying ME! That's even better. You cannot summarily take money and then cancel accounts for no reason and hold that person's money. Again, anyone wanting to join a Class Action suit for a similar reason let me know! Right now I'm a dog with a bone, and I'm not lettin' go!
