Good luck getting any resolution from PayPal. This vendor is obviously in league with PayPal, and they've been scamming lots of folks for months (just look at the number of posts on this thread). It must be owned by someone in the CCP's brother-in-law. Avoid this vendor and PayPal if you can in the future - both of them are worthless.

Looks like PayPal is no longer a reputable payment processor. We should notify our state and local representatives and recommend that they investigate Chinese ownership of PayPal shares. This situation stinks to high heavens, and I'm sure Shenzhen Haizhide isn't the only supplier creating this problem.

The catch-22 is that even if PayPal offers to pay $30 shipping you need a legitimate return address in China to get the refund. Earlier posters have said Shenzhen Haizhide gives purchasers bogus return addresses, so returning the item is impossible, and you won't get your refund. It looks like filing with the FTC against PayPal may be the only recourse since they have been unable or unwilling to address the scamming problem.

Apparently PayPal is completely unwilling to shut down scam artists like this, so we should find other payment services who will support their customers. The PayPal resolution center is automated, and there's no way to get satisfaction. Caveat emptor.
