I ordered a laser engraver and only received the tracking number 2 days after it was supposed to have been delivered. It took me 3 weeks with constant emails to the firm before they sent me a copy of the signed delivery acceptance. The signature was not mine, it was just a squigel slanted that looks like it was done by a left handed person. The delivery firm in Austria was DPD, I took it up with them on the telephone with a chat line. Her first reaction was that it was the senders responsibility which I find strange when DPD had infact had the paket in their hands. I saw this advert on Facebook and the first day offer wa.s really good with extras at a price of Ca 60€.
I have now sent an email to DPD with whome I am registeredand normaly they send me an email early on the day they are delivering, this they did not send. Another point I asked the customer chat where was it supposed to have been left, the answer was at my mailbox which is by the road. It should have been left by my front door which is 15m away behind a glass door into a lard entrance porch, the house door in anothe 4m. inside. The DPD is definatly responsible in my mind while 1. it was not placed at my place that is registered with them. 2. the signature was iffy maybe by the driver which I should think is not right. 3 no email arrived telling my the paket would be delivered. So now I must wait for a reply. <removed> was the email address that I have been dealing with. @ instead of 'at'.
