I talked to a live person at PayPal and was unable to get a return shipping label.  They said they would reimburse $30.  I went to the UPS store to mail the package back and to mail it was going to cost $192.   I decided to ship them empty boxes and that brought the cost down to $38.  We'll see what happens.     If any of you can figure out how to reach me, I am a Realtor in Houston Lisa <removed>, please send me details about your experiences, including the date you made your purchase and where you found the product advertised ex: FB, Google, etc..   I am going to file a formal complaint with the F T C on Monday.   I looked today and there is no complaint currently filed with the name  Haizhide.   Hopefully you will be able to find this F T C case online and add your specifics to it.    Interestingly, the F T C uses PayPall to send refunds when they are able determine fraud has been committed and are able to help refund money to the victims.   ... Can you somehow report the ads to Facebook?  That's where I saw my pop-up advertisement that lead me down this path.   I think we're onto something about filing with the F T C.    Literally a few seconds after I messaged PayPal that I was going to do that, they called me.   I've been trying to get them to call me for months, and I said F T C and and aiding and abetting  an they called.   PayPal extended my time to mail the product back and will give a $30 refund on the shipping. ... I am making zero progress with PayPal and my window for return expired yesterday.  I just left PayPal this message - let's see if this works: "I am requesting once more to have someone from PayPal to call me at ******** and/or to refund my money in full. If you don't refund my money within the next 24 hours, I am filing a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against PayPal and the Seller. PayPal is aiding and abetting the Seller, who is committing fraudulent activities with this continual bait and switch routine."      Has anyone in this community filed any type of formal complaint?  I think we should try to file one with the FTC.  Any other ideas?   PLEASE EMAIL ME THIS INFO - my larthur . realty gmail com - What is the earliest date that someone first notified PayPal in writing that they had been taken advantage of by this vendor?    - What is the latest date that someone ordered a product from this vendor? I had the same problem as all of you with the Bait and Switch, except I ordered a motorized Pool Float.  I should have known, I found another retailer selling the same product for $200, and this company was selling it for $70.  I bought two of them.  The product I received was a non-motorized regular pool float like one you might purchase at the dollar store.  It probably retails for about $5.  This is a complete ripoff and I can't believe I was stupid enough to fall for it.  I will NEVER order any product ever again where the merchant requires payment via PayPal because I am so disappointed with how PayPal has handled this.  If I pay a merchant directly with a credit card, it's very easy to file a dispute thru the credit card company.   With PayPal filing a dispute is extremely painful.  I thought PayPal was good protection because you weren't giving your credit card company to the merchant, but I'm finding it's only good protection for the merchant.  The Consumer gets **bleep**! ... How did you get your refund?  I've been trying for over two months and PayPal is completely unresponsive.  I eve threatened to boycott PayPal and do as you say, post of Facebook, tell friends, etc... There is a photographer I have used routinely for years who only accepts PayPal payments and I now severing our business relationship and looking for another photographer because I will never used PayPal again after the way this has been so improperly and unethically handled. ...
