I found out this morning that a payment which I did not authorize for over 69 dollars is going to be coming out of my account it's still pending. When I checked to see if I could report this I found out that I can't yet because it's not completed yet. I tried messaging PayPal but it kept coming up with the same answers that I did not want to answer and not leaving me a space where I could put in my own answers. So there is no cancel on a payment that is still pending so how are we supposed to cancel an unauthorized payment? I do not have and I never have had any pre-authorized payments from my PayPal account. My big question to everyone out there that maybe reading this is, what should I do I have $5 left in my account after that money is coming out and I don't want this to happen again so should I close my account? Or should I wait for this payment to go through all the way and PayPal to drag it out for 3 months before I get the money back? I have tried using the resolution page but nothing was resolved and I tried doing the message center and contacting PayPal but nothing was resolved there either. Does anybody have any suggestions? When I was reading the frequently asked questions in The Help menu I found one section that said that if there's a cancel in the Activity part of our accounts then we can cancel that unauthorized activity however there's no cancel anywhere on any of my activities so is that just a little smokescreen for all of us to read that stuff when in reality there are no cancels? And if there are no cancels then anybody can take whatever they want from any of us. Well now I'm getting kind of upset here so I think what the best thing for me to do is see if I can cancel this account and possibly open up a new account with new numbers or just change all the numbers on this current account.
