I sold a sweater through Grailed. I’ve never done this before. However, I didn’t ship within 5 days, because I couldn’t afford the $50 for shipping to Canada. I ended up shipping it a few days later. I provided proof of shipping, proof of receipt, and the shipping label. I was supposed to receive $134 from the sale. Buyer opened a claim, so it went through PayPal, I never received the funds and now PayPal is saying to use my PayPal account or even access it- I have to issue the buyer a refund. My mother sent me money today which I cannot transfer AT ALL due to the fact that this claim is still open. I cannot contact PayPal at all to get a hold of somebody. The buyer has stopped responding to me via texts and on grailed through messaging. He got the sweater two days ago, and I now have to issue him a refund of $150 on PayPal before I can use my account again. However, I need to know if he will be RESENDING my money for the sweater, since he has it now. If not, I am out $300. This is very upsetting as I am a single mother and have rent due today. I needed this money for the last couple weeks and cannot access it. Please help me out and let me know what I can do. Is there anyway prove to PayPal he has the sweater and they can release the funds? I’ve provided proof of shipping and everything else on the day I shipped it. I just need this money so I can pay my rent today.thank you
