Gosh, the amount of times I have to rewrite because this forum wants me to correct something "stupid" every time, and just wastes even more time because I am just trying to be detailed and thorough. Hello. Okay, here is a go. No one answered my questions last month (paypal-community.com/t5/My-Account/PayPal-Usage-Questions/m-p/2340866), so will see if anyone is around to give time for an appropriate answer for this. I just can not get any humans on their "live chat" or email address to respond in months, so I am still just stuck. One of my many current situations is trying to get this Cash Card thing I am asked to try to obtain (for our humanitarian tasks we do). However, after some fiddling on why the website kept coming up "invalid" anytime I am logged into my account, eventually I got the page to say it is "unavailable in my country." But, but... I am in USA.... 😞 Is PayPal not a USA company? I think I found the root cause with PP refused to fix originally. Mhm. Maybe. As I come to this board to post, I get a message saying that my info will be shared with other community members based in my region based in my preferences: Dominica. I remember that issue when I first signed up (original post). I am in USA. Eastern Time Zone. My address and disposable phone number is as such... American! I have tried back then and still now, but I can NOT change my settings from Dominica and the time zone it is stuck in. Greyed out. The last time I even got to speak to someone official at PP, which was months ago, they said, "not to worry about it, has no effect on the account." Well, maybe the Cash Card website telling me that it is "unavailable in my country" is an effect. I did not sign up while on a VPN either. Just my North Carolinian ISP connection. Now, I do not use phones. So I do not spend my limited time on hold. The times I did try though, no one answered. 0 is disabled, as with all companies. The auto attendant also eventually told me "no one is available." So, no phones. Do not tell me to call people and wasted hours on hold, only to fail. I tried email but I have gotten not response on their emails. They are <removed> and <removed> (wow, they block those actual emails from being posted, I wonder why, hmmmmm not like they are even responding to them). Their live chat has been DEAD for weeks every time I try typing a message. Keeps telling me "no humans are available, you just out of luck" (paraphrasing). Maybe because I am listed in another country??? They still will not tell me why they can not work with my bank, even though my bank says nothing is preventing PP from using them for account access. Yet, PP had NO PROBLEM AT ALL doing a test withdrawal and refused to give it back, claiming they did not (I had the PP*CODE### proof they did but they refused to claim they took money). Not sure if that is even related to my post right now about the issue with Cash Card and if my account stuck on Dominica has anything to do with it. So, asking here if someone can give me a valid answer what my bloody options are? Is PP just a mess and unreliable? Thanks.
