So to try and make this as short as possible. I bought a printer from a guy on ebay on the 8th, its been 14 days and the buyer did not upload tracking or provide a refund. No sign it was ever shipped. I bought the printer elsewhere and got it in less then 3 days without rush shipping. I filed a claim with ebay and was waiting, meanwhile I was trying to diplomatically solve things with the seller. The seller continued to tell me over and over he would update tracking but never did, then he told me he did not have time but would get around to it. At this point I demanded a refund which he said he would do but never processed. He always claimed he was going to do what I asked but just never did. I ended up reaching out to paypal and they said the best course of action is to process a claim through paypal. I explained I had a claim from ebay but they opened one through paypal as well. I was not aware, that this would cancel and deny my claim through ebay. I was then advised by ebay to cancel my claim through paypal and appeal the claim through ebay, I did this as instructed. Less then 12 hours later the claim was once again denied. Both paypal and ebay agree that the seller is at fault. But because of the dual claims neither one will do anything to help me. I have argued with reps on the phone and on ebay and both parties just keep telling me to call the other. I don't care who's fault it is, all I want to know is how I can get my refund. I followed instructions as given by both parties and got punished for it. Does anyone have any idea how I can peruse things from here or any advice on a similar situation. Thanks
