Pretty much the same BS going on here (since 5/1/20.) I have purchased products from other companies overseas a few times, and never had these issues. These guys are scammers! I have to share the email they sent me this morning, simply because it is so insulting to my intelligence and I want to warn others not to fall for it. Entire email from Newchu's PayPal email address: Hi, Good day, I am very happy to inform you that you have a chance to get a quick refund (usually within one day). The way to participate is to cancel your PayPal dispute first, then reply to this email and attach the dispute number (this number usually starts with PP-D). This is to improve your experience and save you from long waits and possible losses. Please note that the expiration date of this fast refund is until August 20, please reply to this email before this date, thank you! _______________ Best Regards! Customer Service Department So first off...this email was sent on August 20th...they clearly didn't want me to have time to do any digging. And then there's the word of "Chance." Nor do I see the words FULL refund anywhere. So I have the chance of these guys sending me $1.00 of the $73.97 they owe me? Or nothing at all? Regardless of a clear language barrier, I'm pretty sure these guys know that once I cancel my dispute, I won't be able to open it again. Not cool at all. I forwarded it to PayPal's complaints email, and sent Newchu a nasty response. One thing I would like to ask the community is if Newchu has tried to pull this other following scam on anyone else. They have a specific tracking number listed in my account...it has never changed, even to this day. It shows the package ended up in Gauthier, MS; not La Porte, TX, where I live. A week after I opened the dispute, Newchu sends PayPal a completely different tracking number...that shows a package being delivered to La Porte, TX a week earlier. Since ChinaPost transfers US bound packages to USPS, and they don't pay for any additional services like signature required or anything, there's no way to know which address in La Porte it went to. Not to mention, if these guys advertise on Facebook, isn't it completely possible they have more than ONE customer in La Porte? Come on now...this isn't rocket science! ; ) In any case, these guys are sneaky and under-handed in my opinion. It's unfortunate that they have done this to so many others here, but at least I know I'm not crazy. I just wish PayPal would read these boards, along with the open and closed disputes, and figure out this company is not worth the PayPal credentials. I would have never bought anything from an overseas company to begin with if they had not accepted PayPal. I also wish I knew of a way to get this information to Facebook so they are aware. We even advertise our own business on Facebook, and there's no way for me to email anyone with Facebook. Ugghhh!
