Hello,
My funds were placed on a 180 day hold and I am no longer able to use PayPal, this is fine. But, my 180 day hold ends today and I still have not received an email with instructions on how to withdraw my money.
I know my 180 day hold ends today because a support agent from Executive Escalations told me in my BBB Case that my funds would be available "before or on August 11th, 2020".
Here is a snippet from my case (this is not the full email that I received, the rest is confidential):
"To keep PayPal a safer place to do business online, sometimes we must part ways with some of our account holders. Upon further review of your PayPal account, we found that there may be excessive risk involved in doing business with you. As a result, on March 9, 2020, PayPal made the limitation on the account permanent, and you will no longer be able to use PayPal's services. This permanent suspension applies to all current PayPal accounts held by you or any further accounts you may open in the future. We respectfully request that you refrain from creating new accounts or using existing ones, as these will be permanently limited as well. Due to the potential risk of chargebacks and other forms of reversals, your remaining balance will be held for up to 180 days from the date of the last payment received. I can confirm your remaining balance will be available on or before August 11, 2020. Finally, we apologize for any inadequacy you experienced when contacting PayPal's Customer Support. I have reviewed the phone call you referenced and provided appropriate training to our representative to assist in future similar situations. Thank you for bringing this to my attention; your feedback is valuable. Please feel free to contact PayPal's Office of Executive Escalations at REDACTED if you have any questions or concerns or if we can be of further assistance. Very sincerely yours, Stephanie PayPal Executive Escalations"
As you see, she said my funds would be available today but they aren't. What can I do?
