Hello! The hold is released today August 5, 2020 for $100, paid fee of $3.20, realized $96.80, original transaction date was on July 15. Now I want to transfer this money to my bank account, so I select accept money, select transfer to my bank account - there are 2 options available: "Instant" charges 1% fee or "Standard" free, not able to select "Standard" because there's no box to click. What is going on? Not only PayPal hold my money for 21 days now that it is available I still have to wait another 3 days or else I have to pay 1% fee. I called customer service, no agent is available. So, I will file a formal complaint to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I have a feeling that after 3 days, this money will be put into some sort of hold. Please file a formal complaint, so bad business practices are not rewarded but put into notice, so maybe, just maybe PayPal will make necessary changes. I have not experienced this situation with other services. My experience with PayPal? Sucks, Unprofessional, borderline illegal, most expensive, no real help - rest my case.
