@Julesmills I also ordered an item from this company (an aluminium extension ladder) and was sent a cheap metal ring instead. I have had some communication with them and they ultimately offered me a 50% refund which I turned down as I'm still in dispute with them. They've offered to provide the return address to send the item back for a full refund, but I've got to pay the postage and I don't trust them to refund me after doing that. They are complete fraudsters. Unfortunately they are not the only ones. I'm holding out a slim hope that the case I've raised with PayPal mat result in some sort of solution. I've had other similar experiences with other companies hailing from the same region. One did refund me 75% of the purchase price, the other have failed to send anything. I think its now a case of if an offer looks too good to be true then it will turn out to be another scam and the only sensible thing to do is avoid them all together. I was looking at ordering something yesterday but checked out the 'website' first to find that one partner was based in California, the other in Hong Kong. This immediately put me on alert so I didn't follow it through. Unfortunately its getting harder to trust any one these days.
