I sold an expensive guitar, a pretty rare Collings dreadnought, for 2,500. It was in excellent condition, and that was a great price (today that guitar new would be about $7,000–and they actually improve with age. I’ve been a player for over 50 years). So the buyer receives it, and says it has UNDISCLOSED DAMAGE, AND HE WANTS $500 as a partial refund! What?!? I provided him with TWELVE PHOTOGRAPHS before he bought it. I also paid $350 just to ship it! I’m surprised PayPal agree to “open a dispute” ... but it might be a business opportunity if anybody wants to get into organized crime! Buy something, say it was damaged, ask for compensation. Has this ever happened to anyone? There’s no way in h-ll I’m giving this person 500 dollars.
