The best I was able to do was to get my bank to reverse the charge and investigate the transaction. As far as I know the investigation is ongoing and I have the money temporarily replaced in my account. I did the same with UPS and they are also investigating. It's all incredibly frustrating. Buyer beware I guess.

I already sent paypal the info from UPS, including the fake tracking number where it says the package was delivered, etc. Then they closed the case. Total fail. I also contacted paypal on twitter. No response. Anyway: everybody please avoid sprindcore.com because that is the site I was ripped off by. Evidently if they rip you off paypal is useless in getting the money back. Good luck all.

Agreed. I don't know if this is just a recent problem or that I've just never gotten stuck in it. Either way, it is unacceptable. Obviously fraudulent transactions are allowed to go through and the customer's claim is closed anyway. Crazy.

I hear ya. It's absolutely outrageous. Any human who looked over these transactions can see they are fraudulent. But PayPal is just letting them go through. And their customers are getting completely ripped off as a result. I lost $250. I can only imagine others are losing even more.

Same thing here. Paid $259 for an A/C that was never delivered. Fake tracking, the whole nine yards. Now they have "closed" the case and nobody will discuss it via phone. When you try to report the transaction again it will not let you. Utterly outrageous. Only time anything like this has ever happened.
