Hello everybody. I live outside of Europe and I want to buy an item from an eBay seller from UK. The problem is that on the seller's eBay listing, my country is automatically listed among the countries where the person cannot send because according to eBay, my country is not accepting mails from the UK, which is completely not true at all. And the worst part is that the seller cannot remove the block, even if he wants to send to my country. I have phoned my local Post Office and they said that they are receiving mails from UK and also the seller has told me that he is allowed to send mails to my country, without problem. But only eBay is blocking us from completing the deal. Hence I have to purchase the item using another method. I was wondering, is it possible for the seller to send me an invoice with the product details, directly on PayPal, if I give him my PayPal address? Is it safe and will I still be protected to the same level by PayPal by the usual "PayPal Buyer Protection"? I usually buy on eBay and pay using PayPal and I was always happy with the "PayPal Buyer Protection". But it is only the first time I will pay the invoice sent directly on PayPal. Please let me know whether it is as safe to pay directly using a PayPal invoice as it is to buy on eBay, then pay by PayPal. Am I protected by PayPal if I do not get the item or if it is significantly not as described? Thanks for reading. Regards
