Hello. We noted that our payment services have been stopped, and our authors are not able to pay us for our editorial services, and we have not received any payment since 20th June 2020. We noted an account alert on our PayPal homepage, and we tried to provide all necessary information for our business account. However, there are some non-relevant questions (like information on personal details which does not exist in an association where the board members are appointed annually), but it still requires this information. The Dashboard continues to request for personal details, that should not exist in an "association". We have provided details of our association president, executive secretary, and I am the person authorized by the council to deal on all PayPal issues. We have no problem with the revised agreement as stated below. We are providing services to select and edit articles for publication, and we have the authority to accept or reject any submission. Editing service only starts once the payment has been transferred, and they is no refund of any payment irrespective of the decision made by the journal. This is a standard general policy in biomedical publishing globally. We hope that someone can advise us on what to do, since everyday authors are contacting us to organize direct transfer of payment to our local bank, since they cannot transfer through PayPal.
