Backstory PayPal is not processing my payments, when I contact them via the help center they give me a date when I will have the money but it's still not accessible. When the payment finally hits my account (weeks later) and I try to withdraw my money they hold it for "security reasons". The help center has stop replying. The automated phone support just says "we cannot help you over the phone, please use the help center" and hangs up. I make my living online. PayPal is holding 1,000's of dollars of my money which I need to pay rent, buy food, etc. I have provided copies of my Photo ID, and I have even asked the sender to contact PayPal with the TX number to verify it's not a fraudulent payment. Lawsuit This is blatantly illegal, PayPal is advertising one service and it is providing something completely different. For example when I clicked the withdraw button it said i'd have the money in "10mins" but obviously that is not the case. Support telling me i would have the money on a specific date but it never arrives. That's just two of many times when PayPal offers a service and doesn't actually provide it to the customer. It's clear that with the rise of Venmo, Cashapp, crypto, etc, PayPal has a lot of competition in it's space. Instead of improving the product, PayPal is marketing one product but in reality it's just good ol' PayPal from the 90's. PayPal is deliberately deceiving their customers and this has had a direct impact to my livelihood, this should justify legal action and compensation. Does anyone else have similar experiences and would you be interested in joining a lawsuit?
