I filed a dispute early with Am Ex when I saw everyone's experience with PayPal's resolution center, although I had already opened one. PayPal notified me that they dropped the dispute because I had done so. Unfortunately, I was notified yesterday by Am Ex that because PayPal notified them I received the "item," they would be posting the payment back. They reopened the case as "Item Returned" (whatever that means) and suggested I try to work with PayPal to get a refund. I thought Am Ex would have my back and look into this Chinese company, but they are dealing with PayPal, not the fraudulent company. I have now submitted a lengthy chat message with all of my facts and images of the item I received. I hope that having the reopened Am Ex dispute doesn't hinder the process. I am thankful for everyone that has posted their steps in getting a resolution and being vocal and bringing it to their attention. Hopefully it is making it easier for us all to get our refunds.
