I tried opening a new case and it automatically closed saying my dispute had already been resolved, but I have seen a couple of folks here on community indicate there is an appeal button on the original case. Try looking there. I don't have one though so I don't know if an appeal is available on a case by case basis.

I ordered a sunshade and the same thing happened to me. I'm currently replying to all related posts on PayPal Community in hopes PayPal will reconsider, refund our money and remove this seller. It's clearly a known issue but they're standing by the fraud. It's really making me want to close my account.

This did not work. Paypal claims the seller is legit (which they're not) and closed.my case. I ordered a sunshade from Favourhut and the seller email came back with the 163.com suffix. 🙄 Paypal needs to own this and refund monies to all buyers who are posting about this seller!

So should we assume that PayPal is enabling this scam?? I had the exact same problem and it's really making me think twice about PayPal. If more than one person is having this problem, they need to own it and research this and remove them from using PayPal's platform.

I had the exact same issue and have tried to convince PayPal of this but I have not been able to get my money back. Paypal, what is the next step for recourse??
