Hi, I rarely sell anything on ebay but recently sold a gaming wheel and pedal set on ebay. I had installed it once but never got around to using it but to be honestly I listed it as "Used" as it did come out the box and installed. Two days later, the buyer sent me a message via ebay saying that the item arrived fine but one small piece was missing. I honestly had no recollection of this piece so I offered the buyer to return the item. The buyers said she is happy with the item and would like to keep it if if I would compensate her (she actually asked for 20GBP) to which I agreed. A SNAD case case raised on ebay and I offered a partial refund and the case was closed. Unfortunately that was not the end of the story! Few days later got another message from the buyer saying that she used it for a few hours on the first day (admitting that the item was fine on arrival) but then few days later one function of it stopped working. She ask for support which I cannot provide (I am not an expert) and proceed to ask what I can offer her...(more discount I assumed). I replied telling her that the item is not sold with any warranty and she should get support from the game provider. Next day I received another message with picture of the item taken apart showing me what the issue is and now accusing me of lying about the condition of the item (she had taken the device apart herself!). Unable to raised yet another case on ebay (previous case already closed) she has now raised an Item not as described case on paypal and lied through her teeth about the issue. I details my case on the case and now hoping for the best. Has anyone had any previous experience with similar situation? From some of the posts I've read on internet it seems likely that paypal would just refund her.....the unknown is driving me crazy and the thought of having to give her back the money makes me sick and never want to use ebay and paypal again
