So, I found myself in quite a weird situation in which nobody is essentially taking proper care of the issue: I purchased a plane ticket with ryanair of a flight that was later delayed with little notice (a delay that would have rendered the flight useless to me), with the only option presented by ryanair to accept the delay as it was or change with a flight the day before or after (no flights scheduled to my destination in those days, of course). They blantly refused even to issue a voucher, that I would have gladly accepted. Well, I opened a disputed (immediatelly escalated to a claim) on paypal, and instead of giving the canonical 10 days to the seller to answer, they gave ryanair a full month, in which ryanair didn't even bother. Well, the month has passed, and as I contacted paypal to ask why the claim was still open instead of closing automatically in my favour essentially I was told I had to wait for ryanair to answer, the time limit put on the claim was meaningless, and that eventually ryanair would be the one to issue a refund eventually and paypal wants nothing to do with it. All it would take for ryanair to keep my money at this point is for them to never answer, and it would be alright with paypal. Seriously, what gives? Can paypal choose to change its user agreement and conditions as it wants?
