I am really really frustrated, and really **Bleep** fed up with Paypal. I used my Paypal account to purchase something from a fraudulent seller. Paypal denied my claim, won't let me apply for additional claims, and won't give me a refund. Can't get anyone on the phone, can't get anyone to actually talk to me about what to do. On May 16th I ordered an espresso machine from a website called Techbrezone, which showed up as the seller "Electronic Brain Trust" in my transactions. On Wednesday, May 20th, I was alerted by someone who also ordered it that it was a scam. I immediately filed a dispute with PayPal after I learned that the company was fake. I tried to contact the seller, but they had a non-working phone number, a non-working email address, and their address is a Walmart. The website has now been taken down. On May 22nd, I received an email from PayPal that the seller, Electronic Brain Trust, provided a UPS shipping number. According to the UPS tracking number, the shipment made it to my address. NOTHING SHOWED UP. However, because the seller provided a tracking number, PayPal closed my original claim, PP-D-67208955. According to the UPS tracking number, the package was delivered to my address on 5/22/2020 at 1:08PM. At least one member of my household was home the entire day that day, and no packages arrived at our house. Also, according to Amazon, this item weighs 23 pounds. The fake UPS tracking number says the item weighs 2.8 pounds. Now, I can't file any additional claims for this transaction from within the resolution center. I tried using a different reason, and that claim was also denied. Anyone have any ideas of how to proceed forward? Without being able to talk to an actual person, I feel like my issues will never be resolved. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks all! @kernowlass @sharpiemarker @snowshoe @DPCreations *tagging you guys in the hopes that you might have some ideas*
