Good afternoon everyone. I am a small business person who makes her own products. I have had two disputes during this crisis. Both claimed they had not received their products. Person A put in a claim that the goods were not sent and they had not received. I tried to explain about the postal delays and then a couple of days later I could see they RECEIVED their items BUT did not withdraw their dispute. Person B was very abusive toward me and although I provided tracking info the entire time claimed I was making this up as they could not understand why it was taking so long to receive. They put in a claim and like person A received their items. I put in my reply to the first dispute the tracking number that the goods were in fact received and DELIVERED so the PayPal reviewer could see this by the tracking number. PayPal decided in favour of the customer. I then put a dispute against this decision with screen shots of ‘delivered’ by Australia Post and again providing the tracking number so they could see for themselves. I pleaded with them that if they just click on the link they will see that the person had received the goods. They came back saying I did not provide adequate proof the goods have been received. What does PayPal expect in this case? For me to drive interstate and get photos of her using it?? Like how much more proof can you get than Australia Posts own deliveried verification?? Please if you could tell me is there any other avenue to contest this or take it to a higher authority?? I’m thinking that the reviewers from PayPal are not even reading the notes and just lazily deciding in favour of the customer perhaps?? Now I am afraid that person B will also get their money back. It’s not the money so much but just that it’s so unfair that this person has been so abusive, received her goods and now will STILL also get her money back. 😭
