I was defrauded on the 8th of April over a month ago, over an online transaction "covered" by PayPal. I am now very disappointed with PayPal. I am messaging from Italy I am surprised as it seems every other major company managed to keep a call centre open during the peak of the crisis except yourselves, sometimes in different countries. Now that Italy is out of lockdown I was hoping to get some support however paypal (which has Italian call centres outside of Italy is still closed) I appreciate the importance of keeping staff safe and I would be happy to use an online alternative but the resolution centre is a joke, my case was closed with no particular reason there appears to be no way of editing or changing it except for speaking to a human being. Which is closed in Italy the US and the UK. I can kind of understand the US and the UK, at present the virus is at or just passing its peak, but Italy? Why do you not have a system of being able to chat with someone online? Like a normal online company? I have been defrauded and my "payment protection" has been absolutely useless. I don't want to have my money stolen off me that is why I pay you for certain transactions. Thank you.
