After my original dispute was decided in favor of the seller (scammer) I didn't bother dealing with Paypal anymore. I filed a new dispute but this time with the credit card company that was linked to my Paypal account. I supported the dispute with all proofs that I'd collected including a copy of the tracking info from the USPS showing that the provided tracking number wasn't even intended for my address. The new dispute was decided in my favor and I've got my money back. The effort and time that I had to invest to prove that I was a victim surpassed $50, but right is right, and wrong is wrong. Hopefully, Paypal eventually gets their heads out of their **bleep** and starts doing something about it.
