I've received an offer from Dolltu to settle my fraud claim. My case was for $99.41 for clothing that I did not order nor did I receive, nor was it ever shipped. I had attempted to order a bicycle that was never shipped, the company had no address, did not have a telephone that worked, or even a company name that wasn't written in English but in Chinese letters. The offer to settle was for $1. It doesn't even make sense. The reason could only be to delay Palpal from continuing my case for some reason. Of course, I won'y accept an offer of $1 for a fraud case. Very strange. I can't help wonder if Paypal is even reading these emails from these fraudulent companies operating in the internet world. By Palpal actions, it almost appears that Paypal is enabling these frauds on the unsuspecting public. Luckily, my Paypal account is backed by a Chase credit card and Chase is much more responsive to my fraud claim. God help people that have cash accounts with Paypal. Paypal needs to get off their buts and protect their customers a lot better. It is not just about generating cash flow for Paypal and their fraudulent companies's accounts . There obviously needs to be some form of regulation for companies that are basically acting as a USA Bank on the internet. Maybe there is. I don't know.
