Hello all. Was hacked yesterday, and had $170 charged to my Nintendo account. I was frustrated dealing with their online support system, as I did not have a phone to call them with, but was able to borrow one from a friend and settle it within 30 minutes or so of filing the claim, certifying myself a refund. Asked the Nintendo rep on the phone about whether or not to close the paypal case, as it seems to be trouble for both parties and I have heard horror stories about Nintendo accounts being banned for being hacked when the owner of the account tries to chargeback the money they lost. Went to close the case in the Resolution Center, but there is no option in the "view" menu to settle the dispute, and am worried that there will be some conflict if I am not able to close it in time. Tried to use the terrible digital assistant but it gave me nothing helpful. Thanks!
