I made an order yesterday and circumstances the following day no longer made the purchase feasible. The seller is overseas in either Japan or China not sure or if that's at all relevant but figured I'd include that bit of information. I issued the seller an email about 14 hours ago with my transaction information from paypal posted and requested a return and at the same time I filed a dispute with paypal as a backup just in case I had the wrong email or something. I have not received the product nor has it been shipped out which was the reason I acted to try and cancel the order before it shipped so I'd be able to hopefully get a refund ASAP. I figured selecting "Didn't receive item" would be the proper course of action for a dispute. I just received the following response from the seller about 50 mins ago : "Hello Sir We are processing and have contacted PayPal Customer Service. Their processing period is at least 20 days you can contact your local PayPal and they will provide you with an explanation Sorry for the inconvenience" However I am not sure if they went through the same transaction page I was referencing and selected "issue refund". I'm keeping the dispute up just to be safe and also sent a followup email letting the seller know that I had filed a dispute for the transaction at the same time I had initially emailed them as a back up just in case letting them know in the event paypal contacts them. So I guess I just wait for Paypal to address the dispute and issue the refund? And if so when can i expect to get the refund? Hoping to get it ASAP of course. Greatly appreciate any assistance!
