Very frustrated. Trying to buy an item and use PayPal as checkout. When I choose to use my PP balance (instead of my preferred payment method credit card), the backup payment method changes to a credit card that is not my preferred payment method credit card. There seems to be no way to change the backup payment method to my preferred card, not in the checkout process nor in the account dashboard itself. Thanks for your help!

Hello. I have a non-profit client I am building a website for and currently setting up a donation page. They set up a new pp account and tried to attach the church's bank account to it. In doing so they found out there was another account already created and attached to the church bank account - that first account apparently hasn't been used in a number of years and the person who set it up is no longer there or reachable in order to get the original account pw and username to delete the old account. They have no idea what to do now. In order to use pay pal they either need 1) access to the old account or 2) to be able to get the old account deleted so that they can use the new account. HOWEVER, without access to the username and pw of the old account they are stuck! They are having challenges getting any resolutions so I thought I would post this on their behalf. Is there a way to request deletion of an account without having the pw and usernames? Are there any other options here? I know you cannot have more than one account tied to any one bank account.
