Apparently some companies have figured out how to bypass the PayPal protections on delivery of items. I was just hit by this: If a company sends a package to the wrong address with delivery confirmation provided back to them, PayPal will accept this as a delivered item. A company was to deliver a package to me, sent it to an address in another city. The address in the acknowledged order was my correct address. The address on the package was not my address, confirmed by the U.S. Post Office. The U.S.P.S. confirmed they delivered the package as addressed, in another city 30 miles away. So I did not get the package, I have no idea what was in the package that was delivered. Could have been a simple post card that was delivered. Disputed with PayPal. Company showed package was delivered. PayPal denied dispute. I am out $116. So much for PayPal's help. #Fraud
