After attempting a withdraw to my bank account - something I've done on a regular basis for years - I got the following error message: "Right now, we're not able to transfer the money to your bank" After this I returned to the summary page to find that the money was no longer there and there was no item for the withdrawal in my transaction history. Literally, the history shows a bunch of cash coming in, nothing going out and nothing on balance. Wrote a message to the help desk. First I got a robot reply, then after trying again I was asked to use the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox and send screenshots of my transaction history. I've done that, but I always use the latest version of chrome, not to mention that the mobile app also shows no outgoing transaction and nothing on balance. Feels kind of like the money has simply disappeared. I should mention that last month PP also messed up a withdrawal to my bank and had me re-linking my account. The bank told me that PP had sent the money but it was rejected because my name was not spelled correctly. Since a hundred previous withdrawals had it spelled correctly, how could that be possible? It couldn't, but there you have it. What can I do? I need that money yesterday. And I need to feel that PayPal is a trusted middleman, especially in these uncertain times.
