I have had several direct deposits, however, after my last one was received, I lost and deactivated my debit card as I couldn’t find it. My next direct deposit on 4/7/20 was shown to have been deposited by the state of MA with a transaction ID, but it has still not been acknowledged by PayPal. I had dialogue through chat on Tuesday afternoon with an agent and she said it was an engineering issue, that she noticed the problem, and that I would “rest assured receive my money in 24-72 hours”. Since then I have been Told by an agent every day that they have no record of it. Now I’ve contacted the sender and they can do nothing since the payment was not refunded. Is this an issue linked to my debit card? I have called Wells Fargo also as they are PayPal l’s bank, but they said PayPal deposits everyone’s money into a joint account and that I did not have access to that record since my name wasn’t on the account. I can’t get ahold of anyone by phone and I’m getting very worried. Is there anyone that has a solution to this problem?
