Hello and thank you for help. I run a yacht charter company where the service is provided by renting a yacht (AND NOT SHIPPING ANYTHING) and charging the customer online via PayPal invoicing. 1. How can I make sure the credit card used to pay for the invoice is in fact belong to the person who made the payment, and boarded the yacht?  The obvious answer is take a note or a photo of the credit card used when you meet the customer physically and in person before the board the yacht. 2. HOWEVER, PayPal does not provide the seller (Provider in my case) with the credit card number (OR AT LEAST THE 4 LAST DIGITS OF IT) anywhere!! Who knows the difference between Verified and Unverified ?  Why would PayPal let an Unverified individual make a purchase or PAY FOR SERVICE..?? And if they pay with a credit card where do I see what card the used?? Anyone?  Thank you  ... View more

Hello   I run an online yacht charter company and collect payment for charters reserved via PayPay invoicing. Most times customer pay with a credit card (Not PayPal account) as the amounts are fairly large - $2000 to $10,000. We ask customers to text us a photo of the credit used, as a well as bringing it with them at the day of the service. NOWHERE during the payment process do I have access to the card number(AT LEAST THE LAST 4 DIGITS) they used in order to MATCH it with card photo that was texted to us or with physical card they bring with at the time of the service.   What actually can happen (And did!) is that customer use a stolen card online, but texting us a photo of his card with his name.  Service is given but I have no way to tell what ACTUAL CARD WAS USE ONLINE!   Sound familiar?
