So I recently purchased an iPad from eglobal eu because it was about 100€ lower from a local shop. After I made sure to check that I won't have any custom fees I made an order. According to their web site they offered shipping from Eu warehouses and I could have my item in one week or so. Then I found out that they shipped my order from Switzerland that is not within Europe and my package is inside customs now. I am extremely disapointed and frustrated. I don't have any more money or time to deal with customs right now and I wanted to ask what do you think will happen if I open a PayPal claim for a refund. I haven't received the item and it is stuck in customs. I am not interested in receiving the item anymore as I am very disappointed with their services. In their tems and condition as you can see below they say that I I would get an item without any hidden charges and customs delay. What a joke really. "17. Import, VAT & Customs 17.1 To simplify the process of buying internationally, eglobal central choose to handle the process of custom clearance for customers. By purchasing products through eglobal central, you authorise eglobal central to make arrangements for clearance of customs on your behalf for the products in your order. As importing products from overseas can be a hassle for most of our customers, we organise this process for you. We then provide you with fast local shipping to deliver the goods to your door. As a result, prices shown on this website are the final total you have to pay to have the order delivered to your door, without any hidden charges and customs delay. 17.2 After 3 month of receiving the goods and clearing customs, eGlobal Central will not be held responsible for any custom related fees." Thank you so much for reading and I would appreciate your advice.
