@Jerry0816 You can request a credit line increase by phone by calling the customer service number on your monthly statement. Approval of a transaction that makes you go over your credit limit is not treated as an increase to your credit limit. However, Synchrony Bank, the issuer of the PayPal Credit account, may, from time to time, increase your credit line, including after approval of such a transaction. Keeping your account profile and income information up to date may help you qualify for future credit line increases.

thanks for posting in relation to this issue.
It sounds like our security system may be preventing you from using PayPal Credit in some cases. I recommend ensuring that you are logging in from a secure location when trying to make a payment. Avoid the use of VPNs or proxy servers and use private WIFI if possible.

SAME EXACT THING HERE. This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD WITH A CREDIT COMPANY! I’m approved but yet can’t use it??? This has been so aggravating as every purchase I’ve tried they tell me to add smoother method of payment, well HERE’SA THOUGHT PAY PAL CREDIT IF I HAD ANOTHER WAY TO PAY AT THE MOMENT I WOULDN’T NEED YOUR STUPID CREDIT!!! This is a joke. And pay pal credit should be ashamed. Since when is a person unable to override a COMPUTER???? Complete bs. What a load of crap . This needs to be fixed and addressed immediately because I have had it with these people. Do I have the credit or do I not?? Simple as that! I opened a pay pal credit account. It would not let me make any purchases with it. Every time I tried it said “ this purchase method is not available” I have had 4 phone calls, answered all the questions etc and got to use it once. Then lock down again. Why?!
