Just received notice from PayPal they have "closed" a case I filed against Green Geeks web hosting- I can't believe PayPal says they can do nothing more to get my money back because "the item was virtual or intangible." I paid for a year's service: GG deducted $95.40 from my account and I received nothing in return. I decided to go with GreenGeeks after reading great customer service reviews on them. Wow. I contacted them directly three times, three different ways, explaining I didn't even receive an email confirming the account from them: just a PayPal receipt for the deduction. Nothing else; nada más; no account info, no log-in ability. The GG mantra to me goes like this: "Check your inbox, we sent the info again. If you don't receive it, then check your spam folder", which I have done a zillion times. I have since moved on to another hosting service and am completely thrilled with the service and immediate email responses for every step of the transaction. I have sent a "Cancel Account" form twice to GreenGeeks, as they have a 30-day money-back guarantee: no response to first cancellation sent several days ago and have just submitted another form tonight. Any advice is most appreciated, thanks!
