So I recently bought a plush toy but used PayPal to pay for it. When I received the plush toy I noticed it was really dirty, had marks on it (which I took photos of). However the seller when sold it to me didn’t mention any of these marks to me. She then told me it wasn’t like that when she had it and is denying it’s dirty condition. I asked the seller to partially refund me as I wanted to keep the plush toy, we agreed to do it when the seller got paid. However when the seller got paid they still didn’t send over the refund. I then filed a dispute with PayPal. The seller is now claiming she won’t give me a partial refund, it’s either send the plush toy back or no refund. Since receiving the plush and after contacting the seller about it. I have cleaned the plush several times and is now better. So my question is, will PayPal at the end of the dispute make me return the plush toy to the seller, or will I get to keep it? I don’t want to return it as I want to keep it. I did ask on the PayPal dispute that I want a partial refund. And... will it go against me that I have cleaned the plush toy and it is no longer in the condition it arrived in.
