My question is: after being informed by an email that I am not allowed to use PayPal....I asked the phone rep. All seemed ok. My cell app still functioned and indicated my data/history. Then this rep announced that since I had been hacked...(I had identity theft) that PayPal will not do business with me. He said nothing can be done. I am permanently banished. (?!) I dealt in only tiny money. Nothing big. Under $200. ”A pair of earrings bought online for a gift“ type of transactions. Shocking! Sad for me, too! PayPal still has some of my cash in it. They have my data and SS, etc. Is there any recourse to this? I am in utter shock. Everybody uses PayPal and I did too without problems. A hacker got in. I have no clue how I even got hacked. They apparently asked for money from somebody, but didn’t succeed in obtaining it. I got a new cell to keep hacking out. I feel such a victim of cyber crime. Thanks for any helpful suggestions. This is so depressing.
